Page Optimizer Pro is an on page SEO tool created by Kyle Roof. I first met Kyle when he started the Search Engine Intelligence Agency (SIA) with Dori Friend. Kyle is a prolific SEO tester and if you haven't watched his on page SEO presentation he did at SEO Rockstars then you can't really call yourself an SEO - just kidding 🙂
Kyle Roof is a very generous guy and has helped me enormously in terms of learning and honing my skills at on page SEO. Since I have helped Kyle with at least 20 tests within the SIA, I know from practical experience how and why Page Optimizer Pro has been built.

Improving Your Page Optimizer Pro Score But Also Using Your Brain
Page Optimizer Pro gives you a score out of 100 but there are a few things you need to consider. Firstly, the score depends on the competitors you've chosen and you can chose the wrong competitors.
Secondly, the tool will only give you a very high score if you are perfectly optimized. However, in my opinion being slightly over-optimized, especially on the variations is likely to give you an edge on your competitors.
So rather than blindly trying to get the best score possible my advise is to use your brain and consider the tool as a guide rather than the absolute truth.

For the real example, I used page optimizer pro to give me the page structure and content requirements that I provided to my writer targeting the keyword How Long Does SEO Take.
This is in the SEO niche and site like forbes, ahrefs, moz, neilpatel etc are ranking so there is a fair amount of competition.
Once the page was indexed, it ranked between position 45-55. Not bad for on page only in the SEO niche.
